Nathaniel met Dan at LAX airport one fateful day. He piloted a plane for the first time with Giving Kids Wings soon after, in November, 2022. His passion ignited, it didn't take him long to launch into formal lessons with us!
In his words:
I have loved aviation for quite a long time now. I started off by taking photos of planes at airshows and airports, but that grew into an ambition to learn to fly and pursue it as a career.
I hope to complete my Private Pilot’s License (PPL) before college, then hopefully attend college for aviation. Best case scenario? I get hired by a commercial or cargo airline. Maybe in the future I’ll fly charters or privately…that came to my attention as an option after I spoke with someone who really liked that sort of flying.
As far as hobbies, I particularly love photography (which combines nicely with my love of planes). I feel like I am good at things that I enjoy, which is why I hope to do well throughout my flight training.
